Licence & terms

When you buy and download an illustration pack, you receive a licence that grants permission to use the files for specific purposes. There are three: personal, commercial, and extended commercial for high-volume work.

Personal licence

For work you aren't selling: personal projects, Instagram posts, a planner, a portfolio piece, studies and design concepts.

Allowed
  • Personal and non-commercial projects
  • Social posts on your own account
  • Portfolio, studies and design concepts
  • Printed pieces for your own use
Not allowed
  • Client work or anything you're paid for
  • Products, merchandise or apps for sale
  • Reselling or redistributing the downloaded files

Commercial licence

For paid work and things you sell — client projects, products, merchandise and apps — up to 5,000 items or downloads.

Allowed
  • Unlimited client projects — websites, apps, decks, print
  • Products, merchandise and paid apps up to 5,000 items or downloads
  • Company website, app, social account and internal use
  • Digital paid advertising
  • Everything permitted under the personal licence
Not allowed
  • Runs above 5,000 items or downloads
  • Reselling or redistributing the downloaded files
  • Assigning copyright or ownership rights

Extended commercial licence

For high-volume work: more than 5,000 items or downloads and up to 250,000, global campaigns, and apps or products with wide distribution. Everything in the commercial licence applies, at a larger scale.

Allowed
  • Products, merchandise, apps and downloads from 5,000 up to 250,000 units
  • Global campaigns and unlimited advertising impressions — digital and physical
  • Modifying the illustrations and including them in an end product for sale, where they aren't the majority of the product
  • Everything permitted under the commercial licence
Not allowed
  • Runs above 250,000 units — email me and we'll sort a licence that fits
  • Reselling or redistributing the downloaded files
  • Assigning copyright or ownership rights
